Reach for the Sky

Eryn Cates (Hannah Hague) returns home to the family ranch in Texas, only to draw the unwanted attention of Banker Samuel Mortimer (Ron E. Harris). When Mortimer calls in the note on the family ranch, Eryn's father Everet (Hank Sinatra) is outraged by Mortimer’s suggestion of trading Eryn's affections for foreclosure. Spurned by Eryn, Mortimer sends his men to steal Everet's prize horses - destroying the livestock and seriously injuring Everet in the process.

Facing the prospect of losing the farm, Eryn's brother Bowie (Zach Young) throws on a bandana and takes to robbing the payroll wagon. The little holdup spirals out of control when Bowie bungles the attempt, forcing Eryn to assume the bandit disguise and lead the posse away from Bowie.

When his men recover the pay chest and bring it to him, Mortimer is delighted to realize he can have the payrolls intercepted, keep the gold and blame the robberies on the masked bandit.

The stakes are raised when the state sends two Texas Rangers to investigate the robberies. Eryn falls for Ranger Jon Flint (Adam Hagenbuch), who is determined to find the masked bandit and bring 'him' to justice, not realizing that the bandit is right under his nose..
